The Chicago Bulls have launched their annual “Season of Giving” campaign, partnering with several local nonprofit organizations to provide resources and holiday experiences across the city.
The initiative, led by Chicago Bulls Charities, features 17 community-focused events ranging from food distributions to surprise shopping sprees. The team’s philanthropic arm focuses its efforts on four primary pillars: youth education, health and wellness, violence prevention, and opportunity access.
“Our organization is built on a connection to the city,” Michael and Nancy Reinsdorf said in a joint statement. “We feel lucky to be in a position to give back and are focused on extending our philanthropic efforts beyond donations to be a true partner to the community.”
Several Bulls players have hosted individual events as part of the campaign:
• Josh Giddey partnered with Ronald McDonald House to distribute more than $5,000 in toys.
• Ayo Dosunmu assisted in providing Thanksgiving turkeys to over 100 local families.
• Nikola Vučević hosted 15 children for a $250 holiday shopping spree.
• Isaac Okoro held a private screening of “The Polar Express” for families in the South Loop.
The “Season of Giving” is supported by a network of community partners, including the Boys & Girls Clubs of Chicago, New Life Centers, Lurie Children’s Hospital, and the Common Ground Foundation.
As part of the broader 2024-25 community impact strategy, the Bulls also recently highlighted a $1 million collaboration with the NBA Foundation and Chicago Beyond to support Black-led nonprofits in Chicago.
