MEMPHIS, Tenn. (WMC) – Memphis Grizzlies big man Brandon Clarke will be out several weeks.
Clarke injured his calf in the first quarter of the Grizzlies’ game Saturday against the Wizards.
The Grizzlies say Clarke will be re-evaluated in about three weeks.
It was just Clarke’s second game of the season. He made his debut Wednesday against the Timberwolves after an offseason knee surgery sidelined him for the beginning of the 2025-26 season.
Clarke will miss another big chunk of time. He played a career-high 64 games in 2024-25 after missing nearly all of the 2023-24 season.
