The Oklahoma City Thunder will host the San Antonio Spurs on Thursday for Christmas. This will be the third matchup of the season between the two squads. OKC has lost the first two times over the last two weeks.

The Thunder (26-4) had their worst showing yet this season in a 130-110 loss to the Spurs on Tuesday. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander did enough to get the win with 33 points and eight assists. The rest of OKC struggled, though.

Meanwhile, the Spurs (22-7) have won seven in a row. In their 130-110 win over the Thunder on Tuesday, it was the role players who stepped up. Keldon Johnson had 25 points and Harrison Barnes had 20 points. Stephon Castle also finished with an efficient 24 points.

Thunder 116, Spurs 104: OK, this time the Thunder should finally get a much-needed win over the Spurs. The first two losses have shown that San Antonio is the first challenger that could stop OKC from going back-to-back. But after a season-worst showing on both sides of the floor, expect the Thunder to be anxious to quickly correct those mistakes on national TV and at home, where they remain undefeated. Gilgeous-Alexander should be the best player on the floor and the rest of OKC’s role players should have a bounce-back game. They need it to get their mojo back after a recent slump.
