MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Memphis Grizzlies officials announced that they have signed center Christian Koloko to a 10-day contract on Monday, Dec. 22.
Koloko has appeared in 97 games over three seasons with the Toronto Raptors and Los Angeles Lakers and has averaged 2.8 points and 2.7 rebounds in 11.9 minutes.Â
The 25-year-old played two games for the Lakers this season before he was waived on Nov. 25.
Koloko has also played 28 games (26 starts) over three seasons with the NBA G League’s Raptors 905, South Bay Lakers and Austin Spurs, according to Grizzlies officials, and he has averaged 12.9 points, 7.9 rebounds, 1.4 assists and 3.0 blocks in 27.7 minutes.
Koloko moved to the United States from Douala, Cameroon, in 2017 and played three years collegiately at Arizona, where he was named the 2021-22 Pac-12 Defensive Player of the Year, according to Grizzlies officials.
Terms of his deal with the Grizzlies were not disclosed per team policy.
