One of the biggest draws of the Dallas Mavericks‘ matchup with the Golden State Warriors on Christmas Day is the reunion of two former Warriors teammates: Steph Curry and Klay Thompson. How could you not love a dynamic like that?
But entering the holiday, it wasn’t clear whether Thompson would even play as he contended with a knee injury. Thompson had missed the Mavericks’ last game against the Denver Nuggets earlier this week. Concerns about him missing the matchup have fortunately been quelled.
Thompson is officially listed as available for the Mavericks and Warriors, and we will indeed get to see him square off against Curry:
