In Tuesday’s loss to the Mavericks, Jamal Murray led the way for the Nuggets as he recorded 31 points, seven rebounds and 14 assists while Nikola Jokic added 29 points, seven rebounds and 14 assists of his own.

Now Denver will try to bounce back on Thursday night as they host the Timberwolves in a tough home matchup.

On the other side, Minnesota enters Thursday’s contest with a 20-10 record after defeating the New York Knicks at home on Tuesday night.

Anthony Edwards led the way for the Timberwolves in Tuesday’s victory as he ended the game with 38 points and two rebounds while Julius Randle recorded 25 points and six rebounds.

While both teams are looking to pick up a victory in Thursday’s Christmas Day matchup, both squads may be without multiple key players due to injuries.

For the Timberwolves, they have only one player listed on their injury report as they have listed Jaden McDaniels as questionable.

Minnesota has listed McDaniels as questionable due to a left oblique contusion and he is in danger of missing his second consecutive contest.

If McDaniels is sidelined once again on Thursday, Naz Reid and Bones Hyland will likely continue to have increased roles.

On the other side, the Nuggets have three players listed on their injury report, including forward Cameron Johnson.

Denver has ruled out Johnson due to a bone bruise in his right knee that caused him to exit Tuesday’s loss to the Mavericks early.
