Thompson is averaging 11.0 points, 2.5 rebounds and 1.3 assists per contest while shooting 36.9% from the field and 35.1% from three-point range in 29 games.
He is in his second season with Dallas after 13 years in Golden State.

With the loss, the Mavs dropped to 12-20 in 32 games, which has them as the 11th seed in the Western Conference.
They have gone 5-5 over their last ten games (and are 3-10 on the road).
Following the Warriors, the Mavs will play their next game on Saturday when they visit Russell Westbrook and the Sacramento Kings.

As for the Warriors, they improved to 16-15 in 31 games, which has them as the eighth seed in the Western Conference.
They are in the middle of a three-game winning streak (and 10-4 at home).
Following the Mavs, the Warriors will play their next game on Sunday when they visit Trae Young and the Atlanta Hawks at State Farm Arena.
Thompson was the 11th pick in the 2011 NBA Draft out of Washington State.
He helped lead the Warriors to four NBA Championships.
