ATLANTA, Ga. (AP/Atlanta News First) — The Atlanta Hawks will attempt to end their three-game home slide when they face the Miami Heat Friday night.

Friday’s matchup is the first this season between the two squads. Atlanta is 4-2 against the Southeast Division, and Miami is 2-3 against division opponents.

WHO: Miami Heat (15-15, eighth in the Eastern Conference) vs. Atlanta Hawks (15-16, ninth in the Eastern Conference)

WHERE: Atlanta; Friday, 7 p.m. EST

BOTTOM LINE: Atlanta plays Miami looking to stop its three-game home slide.

The Hawks have gone 9-11 against Eastern Conference opponents. Atlanta has a 6-11 record against teams over .500.

The Heat are 9-10 in Eastern Conference play. Miami is 8-8 in games decided by at least 10 points.
