Memphis Grizzlies star Ja Morant is getting close to making a return.
Morant was upgraded to questionable for the game against the Milwaukee Bucks on Dec. 26 at FedExForum. He was also seen getting up shots at morning shootaround on Dec. 26.

Morant has missed the last four games after leaving a Dec. 15 win over the Los Angeles Clippers with a left ankle sprain.
Grizzlies coach Tuomas Iisalo said on Dec. 19 that Morant would be day-to-day going forward. Morant was seen before recent games going through workouts while being listed as out.
Morant is averaging 17.7 points and 7.5 assists through 14 games this season.
Adding Morant would strengthen the Grizzlies’ point guard depth. Rookie Javon Small also recently returned after dealing with a turf toe injury.
