On Thursday night, the Minnesota Timberwolves played the Denver Nuggets in Colorado.
The Timberwolves lost by a score of 142-138 (in overtime).
Despite the loss, All-Star guard Anthony Edwards went off for 44 points, six rebounds, three assists and three steals while shooting 14/25 from the field in 42 minutes of playing time.

Edwards is now averaging 29.4 points, 5.1 rebounds, 3.8 assists and 1.4 steals per contest while shooting 49.4% from the field and 40.1% form three-point range in 24 games.
He is in his sixth NBA season (out of UGA).

With the loss, the Timberwolves dropped to 20-11 in 31 games, which has them as the fifth seed in the Western Conference.
They have gone 7-3 over their last ten games (and are 8-6 on the road).
Following the Nuggets, the Timberwolves will play their next game on Saturday when they host the Brooklyn Nets at the Target Center.
