On Saturday, the Orlando Magic (17-14) host the Denver Nuggets (22-8) at the Kia Center, and if you’re wondering how to catch the action live, you’ve come to the right place.
The Magic are coming off a 120-105 loss against the Charlotte Hornets on Friday on the front end of a back-to-back set in Central Florida. They were outperformed in several statistical categories, including 3-pointers (19-11), rebounds (53-42) and second-chance points (25-11).
Anthony Black produced 24 points to lead the Magic, while Wendell Carter Jr. tallied 16 points and eight rebounds and Desmond Bane added 15 points and 10 rebounds. Bane registered his 15th career double-double with the performance.
The Nuggets defeated the Minnesota Timberwolves 142-138 in overtime on Thursday, behind a historic game by Nikola Jokić. The three-time MVP recorded a season-high 56 points, 16 rebounds and 15 assists, becoming the first player to register a 50-point triple-double on Christmas Day.
Jokić notched the third-highest-scoring performance on the holiday, trailing only Bernard King (60; 1984) and Wilt Chamberlain (59; 1961). He is now the only player in history with multiple 55-point triple-doubles after reaching that mark on April 1.
The Nuggets and Magic are meeting for the second and final time this season. Denver won the first matchup on Dec. 18 and has taken 20 out of the last 26 overall.
