ZT details his best player prop bets on DraftKings Sportsbook for Saturday night’s matchup between the Knicks and Hawks.

The NBA has nine games on the scoreboard this Saturday, built around a doubleheader on NBA TV. After the Kings and Mavs tip off the action (my top player props are here), the New York Knicks will look to build on the momentum of their Christmas comeback as they visit the Atlanta Hawks. It should be a great showcase game for both Eastern Conference playoff hopefuls, so let’s jump into the matchup and pinpoint some of the top player prop bets from the game on DraftKings Sportsbook.

In the broader picture, the Knicks are 5.5-point road favorites in Atlanta, while the game total is set at a healthy 243.5 points. This will be the first of three matchups between these teams this season, with the second just around the corner next Friday at Madison Square Garden.

The Hawks host this first matchup at State Farm Arena, where they have dropped four straight games in the last eight days. They were 13-8 at the start of December but are just 15-17 after losing on Friday to the Heat in the first half of this back-to-back. The Knicks, on the other hand, are 21-9 after their win on Thursday and have gone 9-2 in their last 11 contests..

These Eastern Conference rivals should put on a good show Saturday night, so let’s dig up the top player prop bets for this contest:

Knicks at Hawks Best Prop Bets on DraftKings Sportsbook

Jalen Johnson over 18.5 Rebounds and Assists (+105)

I played this prop on Saturday at this same line, and Johnson got just over it with 19 rebounds and assists for the second straight game. Johnson has been carrying the load for the Hawks in the midst of a breakout season, and even if Trae Young does take back some of the scoring workload, Johnson’s non-scoring numbers should continue to be elite.

He has gone over this prop line in 14 of his last 16 games (88%), and he also went over this prop line in two of his three games against the Knicks last season.

Johnson has been at a whole different level this season, though, and he and the Hawks will be pretty desperate to get a win on Saturday night. Even if it’s Young that goes off and scores, Johnson’s rebounds and assists should be solid.

Mikal Bridges over 21.5 Points + Rebounds (-121)

Bridges should help pick up some extra work on the wing with Josh Hart (ankle) sidelined, and the Hawks have been a good matchup for small forwards, allowing the third-most fantasy points per game to the position this year.

Bridges has come in under this prop line in his last two games, posting 18 and 15 points and rebounds, but he had finished over this prop line in three straight before that.

He is averaging 16.6 points and 4.6 rebounds for 21.2 points and rebounds per game. With Hart’s absence giving him some extra usage and potential work on the glass, he should be able to bounce back from his lower usage on Christmas.

Karl-Anthony Towns under 38.5 Points + Rebounds + Assists (-109)

KAT had a quiet Christmas with 11 points, 14 rebounds and an assist for 25 PRA (points, rebounds and assists). He went off for a huge game against the Timberwolves last Tuesday with 54 PRA, but that was in a game with Jalen Brunson unavailable.

In his last seven games with Brunson playing, he has finished under this prop six times, with the only exception a game where he scraped over with 39 PRA against the Magic.

Towns had two big games against the Hawks when he faced them earlier in 2025, but with Brunson and the backcourt carrying so much of the work right now, I think his under is a solid play on Saturday night.

Bonus Parlay Pick:  Onyeka Okongwu under 16.5 points (-119)

If you’re looking to use these props to create a Same Game Parlay (SGP) or an SGPx, one other leg you can add to the mix is the under on Okongwu’s points. The four legs combine to be a +1000 SGP, as you can see below.

Okongwu has averaged 15.6 points per game on the season, but he has been under this total in four of his last five games and seven of his last 10. The Knicks have a solid interior defense, so I think he’ll score under 17 points again in the second game of this back-to-back for Atlanta.
