In Thursday’s victory over the Cavaliers, Jalen Brunson led the way for the Knicks as he recorded 34 points and four assists while Jordan Clarkson added 25 points of his own off the bench.

Now New York will try to grab another victory on Saturday in a tough road matchup against the Hawks.

On the other side, Atlanta enters Saturday’s contest with a 15-17 record after losing at home to the Miami Heat on Friday night.

Trae Young led the way for the Hawks in Friday’s loss as he ended the game with 30 points and six assists while Jalen Johnson recorded 24 points, nine rebounds and 10 assists.

While both teams are looking to pick up a victory in Saturday night’s matchup, both squads may be without multiple key players due to injuries.

For the Knicks, they have three players listed on their injury report, including both Josh Hart and Miles McBride.

New York has ruled out Hart due to an ankle sprain that he suffered in Thursday’s victory over the Cavaliers.

With Hart sidelined, Tyler Kolek and Clarkson could both be in line for increased roles for the Knicks.

The Knicks have also ruled out Landry Shamet as he continues to recover from a right shoulder sprain while McBride has been upgraded to questionable and could return from an ankle sprain against the Hawks.

On the other side, the Hawks have three players listed on their injury report, including both Young and Kristaps Porzingis.

Atlanta has listed Young as probable due to a right quad contusion and he is expected to play against the Knicks.

This is great news for the Hawks as they have elected to sit Young on the second night of back-to-backs since he returned from a right quad contusion, though it appears as though he will play in Saturday’s contest.

The Hawks have ruled out Porzingis as he continues to be sidelined with an illness while N’Faly Dante is out due to a torn ACL.
