The Miami Heat surged to a commanding 142-116 victory over the Indiana Pacers in an NBA clash here at the Kaseya Center on Saturday, powered by a franchise-record 83 points in the second half.

The Heat, missing key players Bam Adebayo and Tyler Herro due to injury, showcased depth and resilience to win their second consecutive game after a three-match losing streak.

Andrew Wiggins and Jaime Jaquez Jr. each scored 28 points, with Jaquez Jr. notably adding 11 rebounds. Norman Powell contributed 23 points, while Nikola Jovic impressed with 19 points and seven rebounds.

Pelle Larsson added 16 points, including crucial plays in the fourth quarter. Kel’el Ware chipped in 15 points and seven rebounds, helping Miami pull away decisively in the final quarter.

Trailing 98-94 entering the fourth period, Miami outscored the Pacers 44-22, including a 24-12 run at the start of the quarter that sealed the win.

The Heat shot an efficient 66.7% from the field and hit 44.4% from beyond the arc in the closing period.

Pascal Siakam led Indiana with 33 points and four three-pointers, while Bennedict Mathurin scored 25 points, mainly in the second half.

Andrew Nembhard recorded 15 points and a career-high 16 assists. Despite their efforts, Indiana committed 26 turnovers, contributing to their eighth straight defeat.

The contest featured 12 ties and 19 lead changes, but Miami’s superior shooting and defensive pressure in the fourth quarter ultimately proved decisive.

The Miami Heat will next face the Denver Nuggets on December 30th.
