On Sunday, the LA Clippers (9-21) host the Detroit Pistons (24-7) at the Intuit Dome, and if you’re wondering how to catch the action live, you’ve come to the right place.
The Clippers posted their season-high third-straight victory on Friday, defeating the Portland Trail Blazers 119-103 on the road. They took control of the contest in the second half, holding a 63-41 advantage after limiting the Trail Blazers to 31% shooting from the field.
James Harden produced 34 points and six assists to lead the way, Brook Lopez scored 31 points and five rebounds and Kawhi Leonard added 28 points, eight rebounds and six assists. Lopez connected on a career-high nine 3-pointers in the contest.
The Pistons are coming off a 131-129 loss to the Utah Jazz on Friday, dropping to 2-1 on their five-game road trip. They fell in the closing seconds after guard Keyonte George hit the go-ahead floater with 2.1 seconds remaining in the game.
Cade Cunningham led the Pistons with 29 points, 17 assists and five rebounds, Tobias Harris tallied 16 points and seven rebounds and Duncan Robinson added 14 points. Cunningham is one of four players in history to reach that stat line in a game.
The Pistons and Clippers are meeting for the first of two matchups this season. Detroit hasn’t won a season series since 2008-09 and has lost six straight overall in Los Angeles.
