In Friday’s loss to the Clippers, Deni Avdija led the way for the Trail Blazers as he recorded 29 points, nine rebounds and nine assists while Toumani Camara added 20 points and three rebounds of his own.

Now Portland will try to bounce back at home on Sunday as they face off against the Celtics in a tough matchup.

On the other side, Boston enters Sunday’s contest with a 19-11 record after defeating the Indiana Pacers on the road on Friday night.

Jaylen Brown led the way for the Celtics in Friday’s victory as he ended the game with 30 points and four assists while Payton Pritchard recorded 29 points, nine rebounds and five assists.

While both teams are looking to pick up a victory in Sunday night’s matchup, both squads may be without multiple key players due to injuries.

For the Celtics, they have two players listed on their injury report for Sunday’s game against the Trail Blazers.

Boston has ruled out Chris Boucher due to personal reasons while Jayson Tatum remains sidelined as he continues to recover from a torn Achilles.

On the other side, the Trail Blazers have seven players listed on their injury report, including both Jerami Grant and Robert Williams III.

Portland has ruled out Grant due to left Achilles tendonitis as he will miss his fifth consecutive contest.

With Grant sidelined once again, Kris Murray could continue to fill in for him in the starting lineup while Sidy Cissoko could have an increased role off the bench.

The Trail Blazers have also ruled out Williams III due to left knee injury management as he will sit out the first game of Portland’s back-to-back.

Scoot Henderson, Jrue Holiday, Damian Lillard, Matisse Thybulle and Blake Wesley have also all been ruled out as they continue to be sidelined while recovering from injuries.
