After missing seven-straight games, Miles McBride was upgraded to “questionable” ahead of the Knicks’ game on Saturday.

New York ended up beating the Atlanta Hawks 128-125 to improve their record to 22-9.

McBride was been out with a left ankle sprain and an illness, but the Knicks have gone 8-2 in their last 10 games.

Even though he still didn’t play against the Hawks, Saturday did mark the first time during this most recent absence that he was bumped above anything beyond “out” going into the day of the game. That obviously suggests his return could be imminent.

In 20 games played while being in and out of the lineup, McBride has averaged 11.6 points, 2.6 rebounds and 2.5 assists while shooting 43.6% from the field and 44.4% from three. He was putting up some of his best scoring totals before suffering his latest setback.
