PITTSBURGH – The Pitt Panthers were selected to compete in the inaugural Shriners Children’s “Showdown at the Net” set for Sept. 10.
Pitt will be joined by Atlantic Coast Conference foe Louisville against Southeastern Conference opponents Kentucky and Texas in an ACC/SEC clash at Dickies Arena in Fort Worth, Texas. The Panthers will take on Kentucky in a 2024 regional final rematch at 6:30 p.m. on ESPN after sweeping the Wildcats at the Petersen Events Center.
