The Oklahoma City Thunder will host the Atlanta Hawks on Monday. This will be the second matchup of the season between the two squads. Last time, OKC enjoyed an easy win on Oct. 25.
The Thunder (27-5) had a get-right game in a 129-104 win over the Philadelphia 76ers on Monday. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander had 27 points and Chet Holmgren had 29 points in the stress-free victory.
Meanwhile, the Hawks (15-18) have lost six in a row. They experienced a heartbreaker in s 128-125 loss to the New York Knicks on Saturday. Onyeka Okongwu had his 31-point and 14-rebound double-double spoiled by the result.
Because the Thunder are on a second night of a back-to-back, they haven’t submitted an injury report yet. It’ll be interesting to see if any key players miss time. For now, only a couple of guys are for sure out. Nikola Topic (testicular surgery) is out. Thomas Sorber (torn ACL) is out.
Meanwhile, the Hawks have several important names on their report. Trae Young (quad contusion) is questionable. Jalen Johnson (illness) is out. Kristaps Porzingis (illness) is out. N’Faly Dante (torn ACL) is out. Nikola Djurisic (G League assignment) is questionable. Mark Williams (G League two-way) is questionable. Caleb Houstan (G League two-way) is questionable.
Tipoff from Oklahoma City is set for 7 p.m. CT.
