
Phoenix Suns spread holiday cheer by shopping with kids

The Phoenix Suns continue their four-game road trip on Monday, Dec. 29, at the Washington Wizards.
Phoenix (18-13) has won three straight games, including back-to-back wins over the New Orleans Pelicans on Dec. 26 and 27. The Wizards (7-23) have won two straight, including a 116-112 home win over the Memphis Grizzlies on Dec. 28.
The Suns will be without center Mark Williams, who was suspended for one game by the NBA for his part in an altercation during Saturday’s game with the Pelicans’ Jose Alvarado, who was suspended for two games.
Oso Ighodaro is starting at center vs. the Wizards, along with Devin Booker, Collin Gillespie, Dillon Brooks and Royce O’Neale.
The latest Phoenix injury report lists Ryan Dunn out with right knee soreness. He was injured in Friday’s game when he collided with teammate Collin Gillespie. Grayson Allen (right knee injury) and Jalen Green (right hamstring injury) remain out. Allen has missed seven consecutive games prior to Monday.
The injury report also notes Jordan Goodwin is available. He has been playing with a jaw sprain but wearing a protective mask. He played 23 minutes in Saturday’s game, scoring 16 points and adding nine rebounds.
For the Wizards, four players are listed out with injuries: George Kyshawn (left hip flexor); Corey Kispert (left hamstring), Khris Middleton (right knee) and Cam Whitmore (right shoulder, blood clot).
Monday’s game begins at 5 p.m., MST, and will be televised locally on 3TV and Arizona’s Family Sports.
Phoenix will conclude its road trip on Dec. 31, at the Cleveland Cavaliers, starting at 1:30 p.m., MST, also on 3TV and Arizona’s Family Sports.
