Final Injury Report for Nuggets-Heat, Will Bam Adebayo, Tyler Herro Play?

The Miami Heat are at home on Monday night as they host the Denver Nuggets in an interconference showdown.

Miami enters Monday’s game with a 17-15 record after defeating the Indiana Pacers at home on Saturday night.

In Saturday’s victory over the Pacers, Andrew Wiggins led the way for the Heat as he recorded 28 points and six rebounds while Jaime Jaquez Jr. added 28 points and six rebounds of his own off the bench.

Now Miami will try to grab another victory at home on Monday as they face off against the Nuggets in a tough matchup.

On the other side, Denver enters Monday’s contest with a 22-9 record after losing on the road to the Orlando Magic on Saturday night.

Nikola Jokic led the way for the Nuggets in Saturday’s loss as he ended the game with 34 points, 21 rebounds and 12 assists while Jamal Murray recorded 24 points and five rebounds.

While both teams are looking to pick up a victory in Monday night’s matchup, both squads may be without multiple key players due to injuries.

Nuggets Injury Report, Will Aaron Gordon, Cameron Johnson Play?

For the Nuggets, they have three players listed on their injury report as they have ruled out three of their starters.

Denver has ruled out Aaron Gordon as he continues to recover from a right hamstring strain that has sidelined him since he suffered the injury on November 21 against the Houston Rockets.

The Nuggets have also ruled out Cameron Johnson due to right knee injury management as he is expected to miss at least four weeks due to a bone bruise in his right knee.

Christian Braun also remains sidelined as he continues to recover from left ankle sprain that has kept him out since November 16.

Heat Injury Report, Will Bam Adebayo, Tyler Herro Play?

On the other side, the Heat have two players listed on their injury report, including both Bam Adebayo and Tyler Herro.

Miami has upgraded Adebayo to probable for Monday due to a back injury that has sidelined him in their last two games, though he is expected to return against the Nuggets.

The Heat have ruled out Herro once again due to a toe injury as he will miss his eighth consecutive game and he still does not have a timetable for a return.

With Herro sidelined, Pelle Larsson, Dru Smith and Kasparas Jakucionis will likely continue to have larger roles.

Terry Rozier has also been ruled out for Monday’s game as he remains sidelined as he is still away from the team.
