As the Philadelphia 76ers continue with their 2025-26 season, they will hope that they will soon get some reinforcements in the form of two versatile forwards.
Kelly Oubre Jr. has not played since Nov. 14 due to a left knee sprain while Trendon Watford has not played since Nov. 25 due to a left adductor strain. Both players offer up a lot of versatility in terms of being able to defend multiple positions and contribute in many different areas.
As the Sixers prepare to face the Memphis Grizzlies on Tuesday, they announced some injury updates on both players. Both Oubre and Watford have now moved from their individualized workouts and are beginning to get integrated into team activities. This is a big step for them in their progression back from injury.
Oubre and Watford will give this Sixers team a big boost once they return. Philadelphia needs versatility on both ends of the floor right now and those two will be able to give it.
