It looks like Jaland Lowe will play for the Kentucky Wildcats after all.

Lowe, a major transfer portal recruit for Kentucky, announced via his personal social media that he has withdrawn from the NBA Draft and will officially play for the Wildcats this fall.

“Can’t miss this opportunity,” Lowe said. “Big Blue Nation see you soon!”

Lowe was a major get in the transfer portal for the Wildcats and should serve as the direct replacement for Lamont Butler at point guard. He was named third third-team All-ACC as a Sophomore this past season after averaging 16.8 points, 5.5 assists, 4.8 rebounds and 1.8 steals for the Pitt Panthers, where he spent his last two seasons. On3 has Lowe ranked as their 14th best point guard in the transfer portal this year.

He joins a stacked transfer portal class for Kentucky, including center Jayden Quaintance (Arizona State), forward Mo Dioubate (Alabama), combo guard Denzel Aberdeen (Florida), wing Kam Williams (Tulane), and center Reece Potter (Miami Ohio). Lowe will slot in as a day one starter.
