Jalen Duren has been ruled out of the Detroit Pistons’ home game against the Miami Heat with a right ankle sprain, the team announced Thursday, Jan. 1.
The big man rolled his ankle midway through the second half and went back to the locker room with 54.3 seconds left until halftime. Duren started the second half but still was favoring his ankle. He subbed out for good with 8:47 to play in the third quarter.
The Pistons already were without Tobias Harris (left hip sprain) and Caris LeVert (left knee inflammation) prior to Duren’s injury.
