Memphis Grizzlies star Ja Morant is questionable to play on Jan. 6 due to a right calf contusion against the San Antonio Spurs (7 p.m., FanDuel Sports Network).
Morant was added to the injury report on Jan. 3, a day after the Grizzlies lost 128-121 against the Lakers in their previous matchup, which also was at crypto.com Arena.
He missed the Jan. 4 loss against the Lakers.
This isn’t the first time Morant has dealt with a calf injury. He suffered a Grade 1 right calf strain in a Nov. 15 matchup against the Cleveland Cavaliers. He missed 10 games and returned on Dec. 12.
He has missed 17 games this season. In 18 appearances, he’s averaging 19 points and 7.6 assists.
