Minnesota Timberwolves rookie forward Joan Beringer has been recalled from the Iowa Wolves in the G League, the team announced on Monday.

Beringer recorded 14 points, 13 rebounds, five blocked shots, two steals and one assist in his last outing on Sunday in a win over the Sioux Falls Skyforce. He went a perfect 7-of-7 from the field and finished a plus-19 in 33 minutes of action.

The 17th pick in the 2025 NBA draft has showcased his athleticism, rim protection and offensive ability in seven appearances with the Wolves. He has also been able to play extended minutes, allowing him to develop and stay in a rhythm on the court.

Beringer has played sparingly for the Timberwolves this season, totaling 18 points, 17 rebounds, five blocked shots and one assist in 53 minutes across 12 games. He logged only three appearances for coach Chris Finch in December.

The 6-foot-11 Frenchman is averaging 11.6 points, 8.4 rebounds and 2.7 blocks on 56.7% shooting from the field with Iowa. He has registered three doubles, including a 10-point, 11-rebound debut on Dec. 12 in a loss to the Motor City Cruise.

The organization was ecstatic to add Beringer to the roster as one of the top international prospects in the draft. The team will continue to explore opportunities for him in the G League to maximize his development throughout the season.
