Los Angeles Lakers star Luka Doncic had a 30-point game on Tuesday against the Memphis Grizzlies, which led to a 111-103 win. Doncic added 10 assists and two steals in the statsheet to extend the Lakers’ win streak to three games. After the contest, he was asked a question regarding his co-star, LeBron James, which made him reflect on his future.
James, the 41-year-old star, continues to surprise fans with his longevity. He had 30 points, eight rebounds and eight assists on 35.3% shooting from deep. The four-time champion is in his 23rd NBA season and has given the Lakers consistent production on both ends.

Doncic was asked his postgame interview if there are things that James does on the court that keep him amazed, despite playing for more than two decades. He said this:
“Oh, for sure. It’s just insane.”
Doncic even joked that he’d look different when he’s in his 40s.
“Probably me at 41, I’ll be limping around.”
Doncic is still 26 years young and won’t have to think too much about his state when he’s 41. He’s got his entire NBA career ahead of him to accomplish and collect as many accolades as the four-time champion.

But given that Doncic doesn’t rely too much on his athleticism, his career could last at least two decades. The Slovenian star doesn’t use much of his speed and verticality to dominate in the league. Still, he’s one of the best stars with a bright future ahead.
Years from now, Doncic may not be dunking on defenders like James. However, there’s a chance he’d still score over anyone.
