Miami Heat v Orlando Magic: Emirates NBA Cup - Quarterfinals

Tyler Herro entered Tuesday averaging 23.2 points, 5.0 rebounds and 2.3 assists in 6 games.

The Heat got a boost off the bench in the form of returning star guard Tyler Herro on Tuesday night.

Herro returned with 5:33 left in the first quarter of a 122-94 loss to the Timberwolves, and he hit three of his first four shots. Overall, Herro finished with 17 points (on 7-for-15 shooting), nine rebounds and three assists in 28 minutes.

Herro, the  No. 13 overall pick in the 2019 NBA Draft, hadn’t played since Dec. 9 after missing 11 straight games with a contusion to his right big toe. He came off the bench for just his fourth time in the last four seasons.

A 2025 NBA All-Star and the Kia NBA Sixth Man of the Year in 2022, Herro appeared in just six games this season before his return Tuesday. The 25-year-old is averaging 19.4 points, five rebounds and four assists per game through the 367 games of his career entering Tuesday.
