Milwaukee Bucks speak on victory over Sacramento Kings

Milwaukee Bucks players Giannis Antetokounmpo, Kevin Porter Jr. and Myles Turner speak on the victory over the Sacramento Kings on Jan. 4, 2026.

Giannis Antetokounmpo and the Milwaukee Bucks make their annual trip to the San Francisco Bay area to take on Steph Curry and the Golden State Warriors on Wednesday, Jan. 7 at the Chase Center in San Francisco.

The Bucks enter on a little bit of a hot streak, having won four of their last five to improve to 16-20, tied for 10th in the Eastern Conference and the final spot in the play-in games for the postseason.

Their latest win came Sunday, Jan. 4, when they nearly blew a 26-point lead in the second half against the Sacramento Kings before prevailing, 115-98, in the first of the team’s four-game swing out West.

Antetokounmpo and Kevin Porter Jr. combined to score 20 straight points in the game-defining stretch in the fourth quarter, rebuilding the Bucks lead to 108-92 before Myles Turner hit a three-pointer to make it 111-92 with 2:21 to go.
