Sky 5 shows how a Thunder fan is displaying his team spirit during Western Conference Finals

An Oklahoma City Thunder fan is showing off his team spirit in a unique way by using his front lawn as a canvas. >> Tune in to KOCO 5 News at 10 p.m. for Kilee Thomas’ full story Charles Lloyd has not only mowed the Thunder’s logo into his lawn in front of his Oklahoma City home, but he also painted some of the grass to better match what you see at center court. Lloyd, a retired electrician, says he also landscapes his yard to display his fandom for the University of Oklahoma. He told KOCO 5 that people have stopped by his house and gotten on top of their cars to get a picture of the Thunder lawn logo at a higher angle. This isn’t the first time Lloyd has turned his lawn into a Thunder art piece. KOCO 5 spoke with him in 2016, which was the last time Oklahoma City was in the Western Conference Finals. Lloyd said at the time that he had never been to a Thunder game. Almost a decade later, he says he still hasn’t been to one. Charles Lloyd has not only mowed the Thunder’s logo into his lawn in front of his Oklahoma City home, but he also painted some of the grass to better match what you see at center court.
