In Monday’s loss to the Raptors, Onyeka Okongwu led the way for the Hawks as he recorded 17 points and 12 rebounds while Zaccharie Risacher added 16 points, four rebounds and four assists of his own.

Now Atlanta will try to bounce back at home on Wednesday as they face off against a struggling Pelicans team.

Trey Murphy III led the way for the Pelicans in Tuesday’s loss as he ended the game with 42 points and five rebounds while Zion Williamson recorded 15 points, four rebounds and five assists.

New Orleans has listed Murphy III as questionable due to low back spasms and the Pelicans may elect to sit him on the second night of their back-to-back.

The Pelicans have also listed Herb Jones as questionable with right ankle soreness while Saddiq Bey has been ruled out due to a right hip flexor strain.

Jose Alvarado has also been ruled out with left oblique soreness while Dejounte Murray remains sidelined while recovering from a torn Achilles.

On the other side, the Hawks have three players listed on their injury report, including both Trae Young and Okongwu.

Atlanta has ruled out Young due to a right quad contusion as he will miss his sixth consecutive contest.

With Young sidelined once again on Wednesday, Nickeil Alexander-Walker will likely continue to start in his place alongside Dyson Daniels in the backcourt.

The Hawks have also listed Okongwu as questionable due to an illness and he is in danger of missing his first game since November 22.

If Okongwu is sidelined, Kristaps Porzingis and Mouhamed Gueye will likely have larger roles.

N’Faly Dante has been ruled out as he continues to be sidelined while recovering from a torn ACL.
