The Oklahoma City Thunder will host the Utah Jazz on Wednesday. This will be the third matchup of the season between the two squads. OKC won the first two. Last time, it cruised to an easy victory on Dec. 7.

The Thunder (30-7) try to get their mojo back. They’re on a surprising two-game losing streak that has caused folks to wonder if they’re truly the team to beat. They dropped an unreal 124-97 loss to the Charlotte Hornets in a game that shocked the NBA world on Monday. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander struggled with 21 points on 21 shot attempts.

Meanwhile, the Jazz (12-23) have lost four in a row. As according to plan. They had a 137-117 loss to the Portland Trail Blazers on Monday. Lauri Markkanen had a quiet 22 points and four rebounds.

Nurkic puts the Jazz ahead with the layup. At one point, the Thunder had a 20-point lead. Zero energy from this OKC crowd, too.

After being up by 20 points, the Thunder allowed the Jazz to get back into it. Bad outside shooting and allowing a ton of offensive rebounds will do that. OKC is just lucky that Utah hasn’t converted on its looks.

Kenrich Williams just straight-up rips the ball away from Markkanen in the post. Gilgeous-Alexander goes to the free-throw line on the other end. Quite the way to end the first quarter. Everything is going right for the Thunder so far on both ends.

Gilgeous-Alexander with the block as he contested Filipowski at the rim. Holmgren then goes all the way for the easy dunk. Jazz call a timeout.

The Thunder will start Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, Lu Dort, Aaron Wiggins, Jalen Williams and Chet Holmgren. The Jazz will start Keyonte George, Brice Sensabaugh, Svi Mykhailiuk, Lauri Markkanen and Jusuf Nurkic.
