In Monday’s victory over the Suns, Kevin Durant led the way for the Rockets as he recorded 26 points, including the game-winning 3-pointer, 10 rebounds and four assists while Amen Thompson added 17 points, seven rebounds and six assists of his own.
Now Houston will try to grab another victory on Wednesday as they face off against the Trail Blazers in a tough road matchup.
On the other side, Portland enters Wednesday’s contest with a 17-20 record after defeating the Utah Jazz at home on Monday night.

Deni Avdija led the way for the Trail Blazers in Monday’s victory as he ended the game with 33 points, eight rebounds and nine assists while Shaedon Sharpe recorded 29 points, five rebounds and seven assists.
While both teams are looking to pick up a victory in Wednesday night’s matchup, both squads may be without multiple key players due to injuries.
Rockets Injury Report, Will Alperen Sengun Play?
For the Rockets, they have two players listed on their injury report, including star center Alperen Sengun.

Houston has ruled out Sengun due to a right ankle sprain as he will miss his second consecutive contest and he is expected to miss at least two weeks due to the injury.
With Sengun sidelined, Steven Adams will likely continue to fill in for him in the starting lineup while Clint Capela could be in line for an increased role off the bench.

The Rockets have also ruled out Fred VanVleet as he remains sidelined while recovering from a torn ACL he suffered in the offseason.

Trail Blazers Injury Report, Will Jerami Grant Play?
On the other side, the Trail Blazers have seven players listed on their injury report, including veteran forward Jerami Grant.

Portland has ruled out Grant due to left Achilles tendonitis that has kept him out since December 20.
With Grant still sidelined, Sidy Cissoko could continue to have an increased role, especially with the Trail Blazers listing Kris Murray as doubtful with low back soreness.

The Trail Blazers have also ruled out Scoot Henderson, Jrue Holiday, Damian Lillard, Matisse Thybulle and Blake Wesley as they all continue to be sidelined while recovering from injuries.
