The Miami Heat continue their four-game road trip Saturday evening against the Indiana Pacers inside Gainbridge Fieldhouse.

The Heat’s most recent game against the Chicago Bulls was postponed due to slippery court conditions. So they have had three days off, but their game against Indiana will be the first of a back-to-back.

Before that, however, Miami got waxed by the Minnesota Timberwolves, 122-94, its worst loss of the season (point differential) to date. The Heat is tied with the Cleveland Cavaliers and Orlando Magic for the No. 6 seed in the East, though they are one-up in the loss column.

After many long days and many long nights, Pacers head coach Rick Carlisle finally secured win No. 1000 for his career! Carlisle was sitting at 999 for one month; the Pacers’ 13-game losing streak lasted from Dec. 12 to Jan. 6.

One of those losses was in Miami — a 142-116 Heat victory. It marked the two teams’ only matchup of the season up to this point, with only one more game coming after Saturday. Miami is expected to have everyone available, too, barring an unforeseen change on the injury report.

Let’s just hope a court doesn’t postpone the game again!
