Get *** triple double in front of the hometown fans. How does that feel for you to do that in front of everybody? Uh, I mean, it’s great. Uh, I only get to come here one time *** year, so to show off, um, uh, just to play in front of family and friends and people that haven’t seen me play. So it’s great. *** little, uh, heard, heard that you might have got *** little bit of wet when you got in the locker room. Yeah, they, yeah, DJ Herb set me up and DJ threw the, uh, the wood on me. Have you, have you spoken to any of your family or friends yet who were here and saw you put on that performance? Uh, no, not yet. I’m gonna go down right now. Derek, you, you grew up with Buck Carrington, and now you’re playing on like the best stage in the world. Have you thought about your journey and just what it was like making it here with him? Uh, yeah, I mean, it’s, it, it’s good playing against him. I, I always talk the trash, uh, to him even when, um. Even when I, when I was going through the, uh, the draft process, we was always talking and stuff, just keeping it, uh, it just was like messing with each other. I noticed, uh, towards the end of the game he was holding the ball during *** whistle and you slapped it out. Was that *** part of that? Yeah, yeah, I did that on purpose and you sent him *** jersey as well, is that right? Yeah, should try to continue that friendship of course they’re *** little off topic. But you are home right now and I know you went to the Baltimore, uh, collegiate school for boys. That school right now is currently potentially potential closure. Um, just what did that school mean to you and what do you think when you hear that? I mean, uh, Baltimore Collegiate was *** great time. Uh, I still have one of my closest friends I met there, uh, so, um, it’s unfortunately it might close, but, uh, it was *** good school for me, um, learned *** lot. Um, yeah, and it was like *** different scenery for me. That’s what I needed. That’s, that’s what I needed. What did you see the matchup with Alex? Uh, yeah, yeah, um, yeah, rim protector, uh, and stuff. So, so I just had to go out there, just play smart, um, he’s *** good defender, so I just try to get my teammates, uh, involved in trying to, um, trying to win my match up.

Trey Murphy III scored 35 points, Zion Williamson added 31 and Derik Queen had a triple-double to help the New Orleans Pelicans snap a nine-game losing streak with a 128-107 rout of the Washington Wizards on Friday night.Kyshawn George and Tristan Vukcevic scored 15 points apiece for the Wizards, who were without newly acquired guard Trae Young because of quadriceps and knee issues.Queen, the standout rookie for New Orleans, was terrific in his return to the D.C. area. The former Maryland star had 14 points, 16 rebounds and 12 assists for the second triple-double of his young career. The rebound and assist totals were season highs for him.Young was on the bench with the team and got a nice hand from the crowd when he was introduced during a break in the first quarter. The trade that sent him from the Hawks to the Wizards was finalized Friday.The Pelicans also made that trip, having lost at Atlanta on Wednesday night before beating the Wizards.New Orleans led 60-50 at halftime and extended its advantage to 21 in the third quarter. Washington got back to within 10 in the fourth, but a 21-5 run by the Pelicans made it a blowout again.Jeremiah Fears scored 21 points for New Orleans, which shot 53% from the field and outscored the Wizards 68-46 in the paint.Washington had seven players in double figures.
