As the Philadelphia 76ers continue through with this current draft process, they will have a handful of viable options for the No. 3 pick that they can look at in order to add some much-needed youth to their roster.
The popular pick across mock drafts is Rutgers star Ace Bailey, but the Sixers can also look at guys like Baylor’s VJ Edgecombe and Texas’ Tre Johnson. Both players fill needs for Philadelphia and can do a lot of different things on the offensive end.

Johnson, especially, is somebody who can put the ball in the basket in a hurry. He averaged 19.9 points, 3.1 rebounds, and 2.7 assists while shooting 39.7% from deep in his freshman season with the Longhorns and showed an ability to put the ball on the floor and be able to keep the scoreboard moving.
Yahoo! Sports did some NBA comparisons for the top players in this draft and Johnson drew the likes of Miami Heat All-Star Tyler Herro, former New York Knicks great Latrell Sprewell, and known bucket-getter Nick Young.
All three of those players are very good at what they do and if Johnson can even touch any of those three, he would be a successful player. There is so much that he can bring to the table and one has to wonder if the Sixers will select him at 3 just to add some microwave scoring to the bench unit. He can get hot in a hurry and carry an offense from time to time.
