Today was amazing at the shop. Um, we were visited by 3 Thunder players, and they got to work alongside our florists and help us make some flowers for customers, help us make some stuff for this coming week. Um, they each made *** little arrangement that they took home as well, and so, um, it was really fun. They got to work alongside people in our work program, um, and just have some fun with flowers. Curbside Flowers employs people transitioning out of homelessness in Oklahoma City. As you can imagine, that can be *** really challenging time in people’s lives and *** really challenging transition period. And so just getting to like have some fun and be visited by Thunder players while they’re at work today, um, that was just really cool and is really meaningful and shows how much the Thunder cares.

Oklahoma City Thunder players took time to stop and smell the roses on Saturday, helping an organization that employs Oklahomans transitioning out of homelessness. Players gathered at Curbside Flowers on Classen Boulevard to work with staff members and organize bouquets. The teammates also took time to interact with customers. Curbside Flowers helps provide resources, training and employment for people transitioning out of homelessness.
