The Detroit Pistons are trailing the New York Knicks 3-2 in their first-round playoff series, but there is still hope in the Motor City that they can advance. Not only are the Pistons hungry and still angry from their Game 3 robbery, but Game 6 will be played in Detroit, giving the Pistons a boost from their home crowd.
While it’s still too early to look ahead to their second-round matchup, the Boston Celtics beat the Orlando Magic, and the Pistons, if they get past the Knicks, will take on one of the best teams in the league and the title favorites.

If the Pistons do win, they will have to win Game 7 at Madison Square Garden and then only have two days off before the next series starts in Boston.

The league announced the schedule for the second round on Wednesday.
The dates for the next round are May 5th, 7th, 10th, 12th, 14th, 16th, and 19th, with the winner of the series advancing to the Eastern Conference Finals to take on either the Cleveland Cavaliers or Indiana Pacers.
The Pistons, after winning only 14 games last season, were not expected to make the playoffs, let alone advance, although their series against the Knicks has been one of the best to watch this postseason.
A possibly decisive Game 6 will tip off tomorrow night at 7:30 PM EST, with coverage broadcast on TNT, streamed on Max.
