In Wednesday’s loss to the Trail Blazers, Kevin Durant led the way for the Rockets as he recorded 37 points and four rebounds while Amen Thompson added 24 points, 12 rebounds and six assists of his own.
Now Houston will try to bounce back on Friday as they face off against the Trail Blazers once again.
On the other side, Portland enters Friday’s contest with an 18-20 record after defeating Houston at home on Wednesday night.

Deni Avdija led the way for the Trail Blazers in Wednesday’s victory as he ended the game with 41 points and six rebounds while Shaedon Sharpe recorded 20 points and three assists.

While both teams are looking to pick up a victory in Friday night’s matchup, both squads may be without multiple key players due to injuries.
Rockets Injury Report, Will Alperen Sengun Play?
For the Rockets, they have only two players listed on their injury report for Friday, including star center Alperen Sengun.

Houston has ruled out Sengun due to a right ankle sprain as he will miss his third consecutive contest.
With Sengun still sidelined, Steven Adams will likely continue to fill in for him in the starting lineup while Clint Capela could have an increased role off the bench.

The Rockets have also ruled out Fred VanVleet as he continues to be sidelined while recovering from a torn ACL he suffered in the offseason.
Trail Blazers Injury Report, Will Jrue Holiday, Jerami Grant Play?
On the other side, the Trail Blazers have seven players listed on their injury report, including both Jrue Holiday and Jerami Grant.

Portland has listed Holiday as doubtful due to a right calf strain and he is expected to miss Friday’s game, though it appears that he is nearing a return.

The Trail Blazers have ruled out Grant as he continues to be sidelined due to left Achilles tendonitis.

Scoot Henderson, Damian Lillard, Kris Murray, Blake Wesley and Matisse Thybulle have also been ruled out as they continue to be sidelined while recovering from injuries.
