Texas opened this season with just three true road contests among its first 18 games, and all three of UT’s hosts — UTRGV, South Dakota State and Missouri — were unranked. The Longhorns, though, must now travel to play both No. 12 LSU and No. 2 South Carolina within a five-day span.

First up for Texas (18-0, 3-0) is Sunday’s game at LSU (15-2, 1-2). This will be the Longhorns’ first visit to Baton Rouge since 2002.

Stay tuned for live updates:

Both teams are off to a slow start offensively. At the first media timeout, LSU has missed eight of its 10 shots and committed two turnovers. The Longhorns are shooting just 36.4% from the field.

The Longhorns have gotten a boost off the bench from senior center Kyla Oldacre, who has scored the game’s last four points. Oldacre has also grabbed three rebounds after replacing junior forward Breya Cunningham, who blocked three LSU shots over the game’s first four minutes.
