TORONTO — The Philadelphia 76ers will take on the Toronto Raptors again on Monday night to wrap up their back-to-back with Toronto as well as their 3-game road trip. After falling to the Raptors 116-115 in overtime on Sunday evening, the Sixers will be looking to bounce back against their division rivals.
After a tough loss on Sunday, Tyrese Maxey and the Sixers had to go back to the team hotel, watch some film, and continue prepping for the rematch. The 6-year guard scored 38 points in 44 minutes and will now look to get back at it on Monday and help Philadelphia get back in the win column.

“Yeah, gotta do that,” Maxey said after the loss on Sunday. “Gotta get up in the morning, watch some film, come back out tomorrow night and win a game.”
The Eastern Conference is as tight as ever at the moment. The Sixers are 1.5 games back of the Raptors for the No. 4 seed in the East and every game is critical at this stage of the season with the halfway point approaching. Monday is the final matchup between the two teams, so Philadelphia needs to earn at least a season split at 2-2 and deny Toronto the tiebreaker.
It’s a unique situation the Sixers are in as they have a back-to-back with the same team in the same arena, but one they need to take advantage of.
“It’s a little weird,” added Kelly Oubre Jr. “I don’t feel no type of way. We got to do it. It’s on the schedule, so that’s a little odd, but at the end of the day, that’s what’s in front of us, and we got to just attack it. I think it’s pretty good. It’s like a little mini playoff series. Play two games, but the East is so close this year that every game counts. So, come locked in tomorrow (Monday) to put two halves together.”
