Star Boston Celtics forward Jayson Tatum has been named to the NBA’s 2024-25 All-NBA First Team, via the league per a release circulated by the team. The six-time All-Star became a five-time All-NBA selectee, and this was his fourth First Team nod in a row. “Congratulations to Jayson on his All-NBA selection,” said Boston President of Basketball Operations Brad Stevens.

“To be honored five years in a row, with four First-Team selections, speaks to his dedication and drive to be amongst the game’s best. He’s a great teammate and player, and is deserving of all the accolades that come his way.”

The St. Louis native becomes the fifth player in Celtics history to be named to at least four All-NBA First Teams, tying John Havlicek and Bill Sharman, while trailing Bob Cousy (10) and Larry Bird (nine) in a season he logged 26.8 points, 8.7 rebounds, 6.0 assists (a career-high), and 1.1 steals per game.

Tatum also sunk a career-high 250 3-pointers last season, which also saw him cross the 30-point threshold in 28 games.
