The Los Angeles Lakers fell 124-112 to the Sacramento Kings on Monday, giving them their third straight loss in a row, and it marked a regression for them, especially on the defensive end. They allowed Sacramento to shoot 58.5% from the field and go 17-of-26 from 3-point range, which was flat-out unacceptable.

They will quickly turn around and host the Atlanta Hawks on Tuesday evening. There was some doubt going into Tuesday’s game about whether Luka Doncic and LeBron James would play. Doncic admitted after Monday’s contest that he was banged up, while James is always a question mark at this point in his career for back-to-back sets of games.

Both superstars will be available to play on Tuesday.

However, backup center Jaxson Hayes will sit out due to a hamstring ailment.

Forward Rui Hachimura was cleared to play on Monday after missing six straight contests with a calf injury, but he didn’t actually get on the court. He’s expected to play on Tuesday, and coach JJ Redick said he will be on a substantial minutes restriction.
