The Chicago Bulls travel home for one game to face off against Keyonte George, Lauri Markkanen, and the Utah Jazz.
The Chicago Bulls look to get back in the win column as they face Lauri Markkanen and the Utah Jazz. This is the second time the two teams will face each other this season, with the last matchup in Utah where the Jazz won in double overtime 150-147. The Jazz look to build off their most recent win against the Cleveland Cavaliers and improve their 5-13 road record.
Bulls vs. Jazz Preview
The Bulls will be returning home for one game against the Utah Jazz, as they lost their only game on their one game road trip to the Houston Rockets 119-113. While the Bulls put up a good fight and kept exchanging leads with a western conference contender, the Rockets pulled away in the last minutes of the game. Some players for the Bulls struggled on offense, but they were led by guard Tre Jones, who arguably had the best individual game for the season on the Bulls, with 34 points and seven assists. Forward Matas Buzelis also extended his streak of 15-point games to seven, as he continues to play well since the Bulls backcourt went down due to injury.
On the other hand, the Utah Jazz are coming off an impressive victory over the Cleveland Cavaliers where they won 123-112. This game was the start of a five game roadtrip. Jazz guard Keyonte George finished the game with 32 points and nine assists as he continues to shine in his breakout season. Former Bulls forward Lauri Markkanen is currently eleventh in scoring at 27.9 points per game. Both George and Markkanen have been the main scorers for the Jazz when healthy. While neither team is great on offense, both teams are bottom five in defensive rating for the season. Bulls fans can expect a high scoring game with very little defense played.
