The Oklahoma City Thunder will travel on the road to face the Houston Rockets on Thursday. This will be the second matchup of the season between the two squads. OKC won the first time all the way back on Opening Night on Oct. 21.
The Thunder (34-7) finally got one over the San Antonio Spurs in a 119-98 win on Tuesday. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander stepped up to the challenge with 34 points and five assists. Jalen Williams helped with an efficient 20 points.
Meanwhile, the Rockets (23-14) grabbed a much-needed result in a 119-113 win over the Chicago Bulls on Tuesday. Kevin Durant had 28 points and 10 rebounds. Alperen Sengun had 23 points and 11 assists.
The Thunder could be without a couple of starters. Lu Dort (foot soreness) is questionable. Isaiah Hartenstein (soleus strain) is out. Nikola Topic (testicular surgery) is out. Thomas Sorber (torn ACL) is out.
Meanwhile, the Rockets are mostly good to go. Tari Eason (ankle sprain) is out. Dorian Finney-Smith (ankle injury management) is out. Fred VanVleet (torn ACL) is out. Tristen Newton (G League two-way) is out. Isaiah Crawford (G League two-way) is out.
