Toronto Raptors forward Collin Murray-Boyles registered a double-double on Wednesday, and the rookie earned some praise from teammate Brandon Ingram afterward.
Murray-Boyles produced 10 points, 10 rebounds, three assists and one blocked shot in a 115-101 victory over the Indiana Pacers on the road. He went 4-of-10 from the field and finished a plus-23 in 32 minutes, 48 seconds of action.
The ninth pick in the 2025 NBA draft is now one of six rookies with three or more double-doubles this season. He has started each of the last seven games in place of Jakob Poeltl and has brought solid production in that role, which hasn’t gone unnoticed by the team.
“I want to definitely give him a hand-clap for how consistent he has been,” Ingram said. “Usually, around this time, you see rookies hit the rookie wall before All-Star, and he just keeps on competing every single night. You know what you get from him: Offensive rebounds; defensive rebounds; finish around the rim; occasionally, he’ll shoot a 3 outside. His IQ helps him be on the floor, and he is able to make good passes.”
Murray-Boyles is averaging 7.6 points, 5.1 rebounds and 1.9 assists while shooting 53.4% from the field in 35 appearances. He is ninth among all rookies in rebounding and is the only first-year player to haul in at least 15 rebounds in multiple games this season.

The 20-year-old has provided the team with solid offensive production while protecting the paint and getting deflections. He is also crashing the offensive glass at a high level, averaging 2.5 per game, which ranks third among rookies.
Murray-Boyles was highly touted out of South Carolina because of his defensive intensity, post presence and ability to make plays for others. He is showcasing those abilities nightly and is helping the Raptors win games in the process.
