The Minnesota Timberwolves are set to welcome the Oklahoma City Thunder in Game 3 of their Western Conference Finals on Saturday, May 24. After the first two games at Paycom Center, in Oklahoma City, action in the high-octane series will now move to Target Center in Minneapolis, Minnesota. The Thunder kicked off the series by registering a blowout 114-88 win over the Timberwolves, gaining an early lead.

While the Wolves aimed to make a comeback in Game 2, the Thunder, fueled by 2024-25 MVP Shai Gilgeous-Alexander’s 38 points, continued their dominance and recorded a 118-103 victory. Oklahoma City is currently leading the series 2-0. Minnesota is in a dire need of a win to not only get aboard in the series, but to also get the confidence back they had gotten after defeating heavyweights such as the LA Lakers and the Golden State Warriors.

Needless to say, the hosts will aim to make the most of the home-court advantage, whereas the visitors would focus on wrapping up the series in Minnesota, and earn the NBA Finals berth. Tensions are high and a lot is on stake. As both sides gear up for a crucial game, let’s see how their injury reports look like.
