The Los Angeles Lakers visit the Portland Trail Blazers on Saturday, and if you’re wondering how you can watch all the action live, you’ve come to the right place.
Over the last several weeks, the Lakers (24-15) have simply been unable to generate any type of momentum. They have lost four of their last five games, eight of their last 13 and 11 of their last 20, and defense continues to be the bone of contention for them. They currently rank 26th in the NBA in defensive rating and opponents’ points off turnovers per game, and they gave up 135 points to a subpar Charlotte Hornets team in an 18-point loss on Thursday.
While Portland has a 20-22 record, it has won eight of its last 11 games. It has gotten excellent play from several men, including forward Deni Avdija and guard Shaedon Sharpe. It features a starting lineup that is very capable defensively and can turn mistakes into quick points.
This will be the third and final matchup this season between these two teams. Portland won the first one 122-108 in late October, and the Lakers responded with a 123-115 win in early November, despite not having LeBron James, Luka Doncic or Austin Reaves.
Reaves and Doncic will be out of action on Saturday, and so could centers Deandre Ayton and Jaxson Hayes.
