The Boston Celtics will make the trip to Georgia to take on the Atlanta Hawks on their home arena of State Farm Arena this Saturday (Jan. 17) night. The Celtics will be looking to stay in the win column after snapping a short losing streak, while the Hawks will look to stop the bleeding in the midst of their own losing streak.
There are some notable players on the injury report for both ball clubs in the game ahead, but we expect Boston to win this one so long as they don’t play down to their opponent as they sometimes do.
Records, standing, and streaks
At present, the Celtics have a 24-15 record coming into tonight’s tilt. That has them second in the Eastern Conference standings.
The Hawks are the owners of a 20-23 record and a two-game losing streak, good enough for ninth in the East.
