Dallas Mavericks rookie Cooper Flagg is listed as questionable for Monday’s game against the New York Knicks.Flagg missed the previous two games after suffering an ankle injury against the Denver Nuggets.The No. 1 overall pick in the 2025 NBA Draft was averaging 18.8 points, 6.3 rebounds, and 4.2 assists before the injury.

As the Dallas Mavericks travel to the Big Apple to take on the New York Knicks on Monday afternoon, many eyes are on whether star rookie Cooper Flagg will play after missing the last two games for the Mavericks.

The No. 1 overall pick in the 2025 NBA Draft left Wednesday’s game against the Denver Nuggets with an ankle injury, returning to the bench but never seeing playing time in the rest of the game. Flagg also missed back-to-back games against the Utah Jazz on Thursday and Saturday.

On Sunday, the Mavericks upgraded Flagg’s status to questionable for the showdown in Madison Square Garden against the Knicks.

Before the injury, Flagg was averaging 18.8 points, 6.3 rebounds and 4.2 assists in his rookie season for the Mavericks.
